Norman, OK (August 5, 2016) – The Sooner Curling team is looking forward to their last preseason competition before the collegiate season starts. The team will compete in Kansas City, MO in the Kansas City Barbecue Bonspiel from August 5th-7th. The Sooners will be one of four Oklahoma teams representing the Oklahoma Curling Club. Overall, 28 teams from around the country will compete this weekend. The Sooners will be led by true freshman Noah Gordon from Wausau, WI. This will be his first start for the Sooners as the skip. Returning starters from the 2016 Sooner National Team, Dillon Kovar, Casey Cascio, and Jeff Milne, will compete as the lead, second, and vice skip, respectively. For the Sooners, this will mark Casey Cascio’s and Jeff Milne’s second year competing for the Sooners in the Kansas City Barbecue Bonspiel. 2016 Kansas City Sooner Team
